I'm back for more!
Dont know if anyone else found this but....since announcing my pregnancy 3 weeks ago at work, I've found my boss and colleagues less and less willing to train or involve me in anything remotely to do with up and coming campaigns, or promos or anything really!! Whether its paranoia-OR they genuinly did forget to let me know about a company dial in this morning, I dont know. I'm working temp for the bank, and cant help but think because I'll be only working til Christmas theres no bother to train me any more. I'll have to summon up some courage here and ask head on whats going down I think. My boss when she first found out about my pregnancy was daily making comments about it "being a shame, the state I'm now in, as I was very capable and she could of taken me far in my career" as if I had some death sentence!!? And I'd never work again!!?
I now have comments about how much money one could make from cleaning or laundering other peoples clothes Niiiiice.
Customers are just as delightful having told a few regulars I'm expecting, they all go noooooo! Well there's a shocker! (Having been one of these never having children, delightful to look at but even nicer to give back kind of people) so I guess I'm looking bigger in manner of going heavy handed on the lard sandwichs and gotten fat as opposed to blooming gracefully in 2nd trimester stylee.
On the up side at home, I think we've found a solution to an on going problem in manner of somewhere permant to live. An angel in the form of an old landlord has offered us a little flat so fingers crossed we'll be sorted with that, done and dusted.
Happy Birthday to bump too, 17 weeks today
I've been using Ivillage up until I found Bounty to track week by week and day by day progress of baby, its become an obsession.

Anyway. Another obsession of mine beckons, mash and sausage!!
Good night ladies!!

i think the way you are being treated is terrible, it is arressment in the work place get a note book and write down when your boss says these things date time and names of anyone who is present and if it gets worse go to the human resources and complain you should not have to put up with that kind of treatment at all even if you are a temp. if they don't take it seriously go to your union if you have one if not go to c advice beauo they will tell you your rights. and not only that but what your boss is doing is against the equal opportunities leg that government brought in that no one can be discrimated against. so i don't think your employers would ignore you if you complain. i have been bullied in the work place it only gets worse so please if it carrys on don't suffer in silence.
