Well hello and welcome to my first ever blog!! I guess I'd better tell you bout myself! My names Claire, I'm 19 and am expecting my first baby in February (huzzah!!) making me 17 weeks pregant to date. I'm very over excited about it all. I'm a serial babyaholic and anything minature or baby orientated I'm afraid to say I'm there. I work full time in a bank in a nearby town to mine. I live with my partner, Stew, who is a chef. My other baby (whom I've promised not to neglect once B-Day arrives) is my little cat Jack.
Midwife visit today! We were going for a double appointment due to screening tests but have since deciding against them we were in and out in ten minutes. She took my bloody pressure and then let us hear pending baby's heartbeat. Now that was worth the special journey!! She confirmed we had a happy healthy heartbeat of 143 bbpm so we left content. I guess we decided against the tests due mainly because we both young and healthy, and have no previous problems in family history. No matter what happens we'll love our baby regardless :)
Anyways. Eventually giving into having to wear maternity clothes, me and my partner had a window shop today. Surprised to find some pretty cool stuff for mums to be. New Look were good especially :)
So its bedtime for us, back to work tomorrow. Bad times :(

| hi My partner and i decided against screening tests because we are young and no matter what results said i would of still had my babys plus they can't really tell you 100% that your baby will have downs or spineabifita (is that how you spell it?) good luck |
